Kastech Software Solutions Group is seeking a highly experienced Workday Finance Functional Lead to drive end-to-end Workday Financials implementations for global deployments. You will lead solution design, configuration, and delivery while advising clients on financial processes.

In this client-facing role, you will bridge technical capabilities with business finance operations, lead multi-country deployments, and guide pre-sales estimation and delivery improvements.

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Finance Functional Lead to drive large-scale, end-to-end Workday Financials implementations. In this client-facing leadership role, you will be responsible for complex solution design, configuration, and delivery across global deployments. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging technical capabilities with financial business processes

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Implementations: Act as the Lead Functional consultant on 2+ large enterprise end-to-end Workday Financials implementations, owning hands-on design, solutioning, configuration, and testing.
• Spend Management & Core Finance: Drive requirements and configuration across P2P (Procure to Pay), GL cycles with deep expertise in: Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Procurement, Financials, AP, Fixed Assets, Banking & Settlement, Inventory, and Integration with other applications.
• Global & Multi-Country Deployments: Manage complex deployments involving localization requirements (tax, legal, regulatory) across multiple countries.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Identify strategies, alternatives, approaches, risks, and mitigations to meet business requirements. Assist in testing and resolving complex issues.
• Methodology & Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine delivery methodologies, contributing to continuous improvements in implementation practices.
• Pre-Sales & Estimation: Support pre-sales activities, including accurately estimating scope, effort, and resources required to complete projects.

Required Technical & Professional Experience

• Implementation Leadership: Must have acted as Lead on 2 or more Large Enterprise End-to-End Workday Financials implementations with hands-on design, configuration, and testing experience.
• Core Spend Areas: Proven experience in Spend (Financial, AP, Fixed Asset) and integrations with other applications, specifically:
• Supplier Accounts / Contracts
• FDM (Financial Data Model)
• Business Assets
• Global Deployments: Demonstrated experience with global/multi-country deployments, including localization requirements.
• Risk & Testing: Ability to identify strategies, alternatives, risks, mitigations, and lead testing/issue resolution.
• Methodology & Pre-Sales: Experience in developing delivery improvements and supporting pre-sales activities (scope/effort/resource estimation).

Preferred Technical & Professional Experience

• Financial & Procurement Roles: Background in financial accounting and procurement roles
• Additional Workday Areas: Experience in FDM, Financial Accounting, Budgets, Reporting, Banking, Taxes, Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Procurement, Business Assets, Inventory.

Certifications (Mandatory):

• Workday Certified (Financial Core, Financial Services Practical & Essentials, or Workday P2P)
• Workday Financial iLoad practical experience
