Job summary

Agilysis in Pune is seeking a senior Workday solution lead to drive end-to-end functional delivery across HCM, Payroll, and more, shaping configurations and processes.

You will own client relationships, mentor a team of 8–10 consultants, and collaborate with technical teams to align design decisions and ensure release readiness. Strong communication and proven delivery track record required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, IS, Business or related field.
• 10 years of Workday experience across at least three modules.
• Workday Pro certification in at least one functional area preferred.
• Experience managing 8+ consultants and direct client engagement.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework, reporting, security.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday functional delivery across multiple modules (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance).
• Act as the functional design authority for configurations and processes.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable Workday configurations.
• Own client relationships through the full project lifecycle, workshops, and escalations.
• Mentor a team of 8-10 functional consultants, oversee task allocation and QA.
• Design and govern Workday frameworks, security models, and reporting structures.
• Collaborate with integration and tech teams to align design decisions.
• Lead Workday release readiness activities and testing adoption.
• Contribute to pre-sales with effort estimation, solution design, and SOW inputs.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness across all areas.
• Produce documentation including design specs, config workbooks, and knowledge transfer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Workday functional delivery across at least three modules, including HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance.
• Act as the functional design authority
• translating complex business requirements into scalable, best-practice Workday configurations.
• Own client relationships through the full project lifecycle, facilitating workshops, presenting solutions, managing expectations, and handling escalations.
• Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 functional consultants, providing oversight on task allocation, quality assurance, and professional development.
• Design and govern Workday Business Process Frameworks, security models, and reporting structures across project workstreams.
• Collaborate with integration and technical teams to ensure functional and technical design decisions are aligned.
• Lead Workday release readiness activities
• assessing impact, coordinating testing, and driving adoption of new features.
• Contribute to pre-sales and scoping efforts including effort estimation, solution design, and SOW inputs where required.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness across all functional areas in scope.
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including design specifications, configuration workbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 10 years of overall Workday experience, with hands-on configuration expertise across a minimum of three functional areas: Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance.
• Workday Pro certification in at least one functional area is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing functional teams of 8+ consultants in a delivery or implementation setting.
• Proven track record of direct client engagement
• including requirement gathering, solutioning, and stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Strong command of Workday Business Process Framework, reporting, calculated fields, and security configuration.
• Experience working on full-cycle Workday implementations; AMS or managed services experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and impact assessment capabilities.
