Job summary

Huron in Bengaluru seeks a Workday Benefits Consultant to lead the configuration and implementation of Workday Benefits solutions for a diverse set of clients.

You will provide product and functional guidance, design retirement, health, and voluntary benefit plans, manage data conversion and testing, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver end-to-end deployments. A mandatory certification and at least 3 years of hands-on Workday experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Workday Benefits certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on Workday HCM/Benefits projects.
• Experience delivering at least 1 end-to-end Workday Benefits implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Benefits configuration and setup.
• Experience working on Open Enrollment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Benefits integration with Workday Payroll.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Workday Benefits solutions.
• Provide Workday product, functional, and implementation expertise while working with clients to understand business requirements and configure and test solutions.
• Design and implement health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, PTO/leave, and voluntary benefits within Workday.
• Conduct working sessions with clients to gather requirements and propose solutions using Workday standard methodologies.
• Develop prototypes and demonstrate configurations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support data conversion activities and assist clients with testing and validation of configured solutions.
• Analyze Workday release updates and assess impact on configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues and implement solutions for complex business scenarios.
• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver client outcomes and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• As a Workday Benefits Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and configuration of Workday Benefits solutions.
• Provide Workday product, functional, and implementation expertise while working with clients to understand business requirements and configure and test solutions.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Workday Benefits and Payroll, including benefit plans such as retirement plans (e.g., 403(b)).
• Design and implement requirements within the Workday Benefits solution, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, wellbeing plans, PTO/leave programs, and voluntary benefits.
• Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements and recommend solutions using Workday standard methodologies.
• Develop prototypes and demonstrate configurations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support data conversion activities and assist clients with testing and validation of configured solutions.
• Analyze Workday release updates and assess the impact of new features and changes on existing client configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues and implement solutions for complex business scenarios.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to deliver successful client outcomes.
