Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant to design, configure, and optimize our global core human capital management architecture. The ideal candidate will bridge corporate HR requirements with Workday cloud capabilities, translating complex supervisory hierarchies, international worker profiles, and advanced business processes (BP) into streamlined, automated enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage core HCM foundations, including supervisory organizations, custom organizations, company structures, and position management frameworks.
  
• Design and maintain complex Business Process (BP) workflows, configuring approval loops, condition rules, validation actions, and checklist routings across the worker lifecycle.
  
• Oversee tenant configuration management, implementing localized requirements for multi-country worker rules, language translation packs, and international onboarding structures.
  
• Govern tenant security profiles, adjusting domain security policies (DSPs) and business process security policies (BPSPs) to protect sensitive employee records.
  
• Drive biannual Workday release testing cycles, evaluating new features, performing regression testing in sandbox environments, and activating platform updates.
  
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, mapping functional data fields to support downstream integration builds, report generation, and data migrations.
  
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) phases, drafting functional test scenarios, tracking defect remediation, and delivering system admin training workshops.
  

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of core Human Capital Management technology experience, with 4+ dedicated years actively designing and deploying solutions inside the Workday HCM platform.
  
• Expert-level configuration mastery of Workday Business Process Builder, tenant setup controls, and dynamic condition rules.
  
• Deep functional understanding of global HR operations, worker lifecycle management, data localization compliance, and standard org structures.
  
• Mandatory certification: Workday Certified Core Human Capital Management.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience implementing adjacent Workday modules like Workday Compensation, Recruiting, or Absence Management.
  
• Strong analytical background utilizing Workday standard or advanced reports to troubleshoot workflow data drops and process bottlenecks.
