CO_AFATI Apex Fund Services LLP is seeking a Workday Accounting Center Specialist focused on tax configuration and R2R processes. You will manage event-driven accounting, ensure accurate postings to the General Ledger, and support tax-compliant accounting flows across Workday Financials and integrated systems.

The role emphasizes configuring tax codes, rates, and VAT/GST rules, maintaining data quality, and collaborating with system owners to ensure reliable accounting outcomes during period-end

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Accounting Center configuration and maintenance.
• Knowledge of tax codes, VAT/GST, withholding tax setups.
• Experience supporting end-to-end R2R processes and period-end close.
• Ability to troubleshoot mappings and data quality issues.
• Experience with EIB loads and integration testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure accounting center frameworks, mappings, and source-to-accounting transformations.
• Ensure accurate postings to General Ledger and alignment with subledger.
• Configure tax codes and applicability rules and investigate tax discrepancies.
• Support end-to-end R2R activities including journal entries and closes.
• Provide system configuration and support for ledgers, worktags, and BPFs.

Workday Accounting Center Specialist (Tax & R2R Focus)

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Accounting Center Specialist with strong expertise in tax configuration and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes. This role is responsible for managing event-driven accounting, ensuring accurate financial postings, and supporting tax-compliant accounting flows across Workday Financials and integrated systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounting Center (Core Focus)

Configure and maintain Accounting Center frameworks, including Accounting rules and mappings, Source-to-accounting transformations. Support event-driven accounting processes, ensuring accurate postings to the General Ledger. Troubleshoot issues related to Incorrect mappings, missing accounting entries, Integration data inconsistencies. Perform impact analysis for changes affecting accounting flows. Collaborate with upstream system owners to ensure data quality and completeness.

Tax Configuration & Compliance

Configure and maintain Tax codes, rates, and applicability rules, VAT/GST and withholding tax setups Ensure proper tax treatment across source transactions feeding Accounting Center, Customer and supplier invoices Investigate and resolve tax-related discrepancies in accounting postings.

Record-to-Report (R2R)

Support end-to-end R2R processes, including Journal entries and adjustments, period-end and year-end close Ensure accurate accounting postings generated from Accounting Center. Maintain alignment between subledger, Accounting Center, and GL.

System Configuration & Support

Configure and support Ledgers, accounting structures, and worktags, Business Process Frameworks (BPFs) where relevant Support EIB loads, data corrections, and integration testing. Perform root cause analysis for system and accounting issues.
