Job summary

Apex Group in Pune is seeking a Senior Associate in accounting to manage data reception for book-keeping, including P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flows, and ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance across entities.

You will analyze bank transactions, process invoices, reconcile AP/AR, and assist with VAT/GST calculations and finalization of trial balances, contributing to accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance/CFA or equivalent accounting/finance qualification.
• Experience of 5-7 years in accounting.
• Experience of IFRS/US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive data for Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows).
• Analyze bank transactions and process/review on accounting platform/excel.
• Review invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Understand accruals, prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations; cash, capital & dividend movements.
• Reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions).
• Prepare & review periodic management accounts in IFRS/US GAAP.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE All Locations

Key duties and responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing/reviewing on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing/review of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & review of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience of 5-7 years in accounting.
• Experience of Accounting in IFRS/US GAAP is preferred.
