Apex Group in Pune invites an experienced Senior Associate– Accounting & Reporting to join our global finance team. You will prepare primary statements, management accounts, and perform detailed analyses across IFRS and US GAAP, coordinating with onshore teams to meet tight reporting deadlines.
The role emphasizes strong Excel and ERP proficiency, careful journal entries, payroll and VAT handling, and effective communication with auditors.

Prepare periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash‑Flows & notes as appropriate in multiple GAAPs, primarily in IFRS and US GAAP. Prepare management accounts on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Analysis of bank transactions and processing / reviewing on accounting software / Excel. Perform day‑to‑day, general ledger accounting, Trial Balance finalization and financial analysis for assigned entities and functional areas. Review payroll accounting, posting/ review journal entries & VAT/FCA calculations/returns. Prepare & monitor cash, capital, dividend movements, FX calculations, provisions, reserves, and multi‑currency revaluations. Prepare & review bank transactions, invoices, expenses, journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and revaluations. Perform and review AP, AR, bank, and intercompany reconciliations; resolve variances and aged outstanding items. Coordinate with onshore teams to manage deliverables and meet reporting deadlines. Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by onshore colleagues, clients, and auditors. Coordinate audit requests and prepare audit support documentation and function as the point of contact for auditors.
Professional qualification such as CA-Intermediate, ACCA, MBA(Finance).4 to 7 years of experience in statutory & general accounting/ auditing, financial reporting, or related accounting functions.Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements are preferred.Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong accounting knowledge, understanding of journal entries & accounting principles.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Knowledge of capital markets, derivatives, private equity, and hedge funds.Willingness to learn and adapt.Willingness to work extended hours to meet business requirements if needed in exceptional situations.
