Job summary

Huron Consulting in India is seeking an experienced FP&A and Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to lead client engagements, define requirements, and deliver adaptive planning solutions.

The role requires 7–10 years in FP&A, 5+ years implementing Workday Adaptive Planning (or Adaptive Insights), strong finance process expertise, and proven leadership in mid-to-large projects with excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven prior success in roles implementing Workday Adaptive Planning or Adaptive Insights.
• 7–10 years' experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users.
• Huron requires a master's degree in finance or accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced FP&A and Workday Adaptive Planning professional to join our team as a Manager. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and enterprise performance management, along with hands‑on expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning.

The candidate should possess a strong understanding of finance business processes, planning and forecasting cycles, budgeting, management reporting, and organizational performance management requirements. They should be able to leverage their finance domain expertise to provide strategic insights and deliver effective Adaptive planning solutions to clients.

This role is well‑suited for professionals looking to transition into or further develop their career in the consulting domain. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt, and apply their prior finance experience to solve complex business challenges, support client engagements, and drive successful Workday Adaptive Planning implementations. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years proven prior success in roles directly implementing Workday Adaptive Planning or Legacy Adaptive Insights .
• 7- 10 years' experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users .
• Huron requires a master's degree in finance or accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferences:

• Holds active Workday Certification ( Adaptive or Financials preferred )
• May consider candidates with prior experience implementing Cognos, Anaplan, or Oracle EPM , TM1 solutions
• Experience leading medium to large scale Adaptive Planning (or similar) implementation projects .
• Experience with d esign , configuration and development of A daptive planning solutions .
• Experience with Adaptive integration .
• Extensive knowledge of Excel .
• Extensive knowledge FP&A processes and activities .
• Prior team management experience, experience managing people (mentoring, delegating, reviewing work, and coaching staff)
• Experience in pre-sales activities, proposal development, presentations, and Demo's
• Willingness to attend and present at orals
• Strong understanding of financial processes, principles, and best practices.
• Project management experience is a plus.
