Job summary

Mirafra in Hyderabad seeks an embedded WLAN software engineer to develop and debug WLAN 802.11 stacks and Linux drivers.

You will work on networking interfaces, protocol stacks, and end-to-end wifi/linux debugging, including exposure to RTOS and various bus protocols.

OpenWrt/OpenSync/RDK experience is valued; strong C/C++ and embedded skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with WLAN 802.11 stack and Linux drivers.
• Hands-on networking interface and protocol stack work.
• End-to-end debugging in wifi/linux environment.
• Understanding of IEEE802.11 standards.
• Exposure to RTOS.
• Coordinate bring-up and feature integration.
• Experience with bus protocols: SDIO, PCIe, UART, SPI.
• Bring up and replicate features for internal alignment.
• Experience with OpenWrt/OpenSync/RDK.
• Strong C/C++ programming and embedded systems knowledge.
• Algorithms and data structures proficiency.

Job description

• 1. Development and debug experience in WLAN 802.11 stack like wpa_supplicant, hostapd, WLAN driver on linux.
• 2. Hands-on experience with networking interfaces and networking protocol stack.
• 3. End to end debugging on wifi/linux environment.
• 4. Understanding of different IEEE802.11 standards.
• 5. Good to have some exposure on RTOS.
• 6. Co-ordinate for bringup issues or feature integrations works.
• 7. Experience working with bus protocol like, SDIO, PCIe, UART, SPI.
• 8. Bringup and replicate the features for internal alignment
• 9. Experience working on WiFi access points, operating systems such as OpenWRT, open source platforms such as RDK or OpenSync.
• 10. Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming and embedded systems .
• 11. High proficiency in writing idiomatic code with experience in C/C++
