Job summary

Source-Right seeks a Wire Harness engineer to handle routing, flattening, and schematic understanding. The role supports solo or small-team work to meet deliverables, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely releases.

You will develop wiring installation projects, confirm design correctness for all harness and schematic releases, and contribute to multiple installations within the assignment area.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferably in highway/off highway, Powertrain industry.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and excellent knowledge of electrical components.
• Hands-on experience with Creo wiring harness 3D modeling.
• Creo Schematics and PLM tool knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in design and development of sheet metal brackets adds advantage.
• Knowledge of product development cycle and quality tools such as RCA/FTA.

Responsibilities

• Have responsibility for Routing/ flattening the Harness, Bundle Harness and Schematics understanding.
• Should be able to work individually and/or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables
• Integrate deliveries from cross-functions and secure quality and readiness before releases.
• Ensure the deliveries are met as per the set requirements and timelines.
• Frequent interactions with internal stakeholders, clarify the requirements and deliver accordingly.
• Develop and implement wiring installation projects within the area of assignment including related routing and clipping solutions.
• Ensures design correctness and completeness for all wiring harness, schematic & wiring harness installation releases within the area of responsibility.
