Job summary

ADCC Global seeks an Electrical Wiring Harness Design Engineer to develop and validate automotive wiring harnesses, covering 3D routing, electrical schematics, DMU validation, component selection and supplier release packages.

Responsibilities include 3D routing optimization, bundle definition, schematic creation, BOM management and supplier data handling, with cross-functional release support across PLM and manufacturing domains.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in EEE/ECE/Mechanical/Mechatronics required.

• Electrical wiring harness design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize 3D wiring harness routing and packaging across vehicle zones.
• Define bundle diameters, branches, service loops and protective coverings.
• Create and validate circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, harness formboard and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Extract and manage BOMs, connector pinouts, splice schedules and retention hardware.
• Select connectors, terminals, cavity plugs, relays, fuses, grommets and protective components.
• Perform DMU clearance, clash/interference and dynamic buckle analysis for harness flex zones.
• Generate supplier data exports and review supplier manufacturing drawings through PEI/DFM processes.
• Prepare and release milestone packages including TGA, VC, PPC and TR05 and archive CAD assets in PLM systems.
• Track design changes, issues and release activities and support cross-functional root-cause resolution.
