Job summary

3i Infotech is seeking a Wintel Administrator (L2) to manage and support enterprise Windows server infrastructure in Marol, Mumbai. The role requires 4–7 years of experience and hands-on expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, and patching to ensure high availability and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities include managing AD, VMware, DNS/DHCP, clustering, IIS, RDS where applicable, and proactive infrastructure monitoring.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, server patching, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes for incidents, changes and problem management.
• Exposure to virtualization, clustering, and RDS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Windows servers.
• Manage Active Directory including users, groups, OU, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
• Administer VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) including provisioning, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation.
• Monitor server health, performance, storage utilization, and infrastructure availability.
• Perform server hardening, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Handle L2 incidents, service requests, problem management, and change implementation.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring infrastructure issues.
• Manage Windows clustering, IIS, and RDS where applicable.
• Work with L3 teams and vendors for resolution; maintain SOPs and knowledge base.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Wintel Administrator (L2) to manage and support enterprise Windows server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, server patching, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support. The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to ensure high availability and performance of the IT infrastructure while adhering to SLA commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Windows servers.
• Manage Active Directory, including Users, Groups, OU, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
• Administer VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter), including VM provisioning, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation.
