Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an IT Administrator to manage Windows Server environments and AD services in Chennai. The role covers MS 365 management, Azure AD, Intune, and identity provisioning, with a focus on reliability and security.

The candidate will work with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and backup/recovery tools, ensuring compliance and SLA adherence across the enterprise IT estate.

Qualifications

• Administer and manage Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, WDS, and WSUS.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Configure and support Azure AD, MFA, user provisioning, and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure and troubleshoot systems to identify root causes and resolve issues within SLA.
• Support disaster recovery and backup solutions.
• Implement security policies, monitoring frameworks, and patch management for endpoints.

Job description

Manage virtualization environments including Hyper‑V, VMware, vCenter, and vCloud Director

Perform backup and recovery operations using Commvault and Veeam

Support disaster recovery solutions including Zerto and DRaaS

Monitor infrastructure using tools like Logic Monitor and Labtech

Troubleshoot systems, identify root causes, and ensure issue resolution within SLA

Implement compliance, security policies, and monitoring frameworks

Support endpoint management, patching, and device lifecycle operations
