Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer in Hyderabad to design, deploy, and manage VMware and Azure environments. You will administer Windows Server estates, Entra ID and AD, plus core DNS/DHCP and patch management while enabling automation with PowerShell and Ansible.

The role emphasizes security hardening, backup with Commvault, and DR readiness, with collaboration across teams for cloud adoption and infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT infrastructure experience with VMware and Azure.
• Strong Windows Server administration (2008–2025).
• Proficient in Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management.
• OS patching and patch management experience.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
• Familiarity with ManageEngine suite.
• Experience with Commvault backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection.
• Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery with Commvault.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualized environments (ESXi, vCenter) ensuring high availability and performance.
• Architect and manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Azure DevTest Labs & Horizon VDIs.
• Manage Entra ID & Active Directory services including GPOs, OU structure, identity lifecycle, and security hardening.
• Configure and maintain core infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP.
• Perform OS patching and vulnerability remediation across servers using enterprise patch management tools.
• Utilize ManageEngine tools for monitoring, reporting, and IT operations management.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Ansible to streamline operational tasks.
• Abiding by Incident, Change and Problem Management procedures.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations using Commvault, ensuring data protection, retention compliance, and successful disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with strong hands‑on expertise in VMware and Azure.
• Solid experience with Windows Server administration (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Hands‑on experience with OS patching and patch management processes.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
• Familiarity with ManageEngine suite
• Experience with Commvault backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in VMware (VCP), Microsoft Azure (AZ‑104/AZ‑305), or Windows Server.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
