Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Kolkata, India is seeking a seasoned Windows platform engineer to lead automation, OS upgrades, and security hardening, with hands-on scripting in PowerShell and Python.

You will work with Azure/AWS hybrid environments, configuration management tools, and DevOps practices to ensure reliability, patching, provisioning, and compliance across enterprise systems. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, automation, and infrastructure management.
• 6+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration & Automation.
• Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell and Python.
• Experience with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, SCCM, Chef.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Windows Security.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS hybrid cloud environments and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Windows platform engineering initiatives and automation efforts.
• Perform OS upgrades, provisioning, patching, and compliance automation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and maintain thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams in hybrid environments.
• Leverage ServiceNow, Docker, and Kubernetes where applicable.
• Develop and maintain robust automation scripts and playbooks.

• Windows platform engineering, automation, and infrastructure management.
• 6+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration & Automation
• Strong hands-on experience in PowerShell/Python scripting
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, SCCM, Chef, or other automation tools
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy & Windows Security
• Experience in OS upgrades, patching, provisioning, and compliance automation
