Job summary

TransUnion in Mumbai is seeking a Sr Analyst, Applications Support to maintain high availability and reliability of critical business platforms. Qualifications

• Strong experience in Application Production Support within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL, and C# .Net.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk and enterprise monitoring platforms.

Team Overview

TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice Team Overview Team is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, performance, and operational excellence of critical business applications and platforms. The team manages production Environment, incident resolution, deployments, monitoring, automation initiatives, capacity planning, and operational improvements that enable seamless delivery of services to customers and business stakeholders. Through collaboration with development, infrastructure, and business teams, the team plays a key role in supporting TransUnion's commitment to delivering reliable and data-driven solutions. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Ensure high application availability and system reliability for critical business platforms.

Recurring activities this individual will be responsible for

• Daily monitoring of application health, batch jobs, interfaces, and data processing workflows.
• Incident, problem, and service request management.
• Deployment support and post-deployment validation activities.
• Capacity planning, performance analysis, and environment health checks.
• Collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, Database, and Business teams for issue resolution and operational improvements.
• Participation in on-call support, disaster recovery exercises, and audit/compliance activities.
• Preparation and maintenance of operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• Strong experience in Application Production Support within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL, and C# .Net.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk and enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of application servers, middleware, batch processing systems, and data integration platforms.
• Understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, and release management processes.
• Experience in automation, troubleshooting complex production issues, and driving operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience: 4 -7 years of experience working in Application Support, Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), IT Operations, or Enterprise Platform Support environments with proven expertise in Windows, Linux, SQL, c# .Net, monitoring tools, automation, and troubleshooting complex production systems.
