The Data Platform Team is driving the evolution of our enterprise-grade data infrastructure, shifting legacy workloads into a modern, cloud-native ecosystem. We focus on building highly scalable, resilient, batch and real-time data architectures using technologies like Java, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and advanced cloud platforms. Operating within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment, our team balances robust data pipeline optimization with modern engineering best practices like containerization and microservices. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Performance Expectations for this Level : Hands-on Execution: You are expected to write clean, resilient code and build end-to-end data pipelines based on established architectural designs.
Collaboration & Alignment: You work seamlessly within cross-functional teams, ensuring your deliverables align with the broader project timelines and business goals.
Technical Proficiency: You independently troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, addressing bottlenecks, cloud storage costs, and query performance.
Engineering Standards: You actively participate in code reviews, adopt team best practices, and maintain high standards for documentation and testing.
