Job summary

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator to manage server estates (2016/2019/2022), provision, configure and harden servers, and ensure security baselines across enterprise builds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server environments and administration.
• Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) proficiency required.
• DNS administration experience required.
• Endpoint and server patching/compliance experience.

Job description

Windows Server Administration

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Perform server provisioning, configuration, and hardening
• Troubleshoot OS-level, authentication, and infrastructure issues
• Ensure compliance with enterprise build standards and security baselines

Patching & Security Compliance

• Execute patch management for Windows servers and endpoints as per defined schedules
• Coordinate with endpoint teams for OS and application patch deployment
• Address vulnerability remediation findings (e.g., Rapid7 / scanning tools)
• Ensure adherence to audit, compliance, and security policies

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Operations

• Monitor AD and DNS health, logs, and performance metrics
• Troubleshoot issues related to authentication failures, replication, DNS resolution, and GPOs
• Provide L2/L3 support for identity and Windows infrastructure incidents
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs

Automation & Reporting

• Develop PowerShell scripts for AD, DNS, and patching automation
• Generate health, compliance, and audit reports
• Support continuous improvement through automation and process standardisation
