Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Windows deployment specialist to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide WDS infrastructure. You will architect OS deployment solutions using WDS, MDT, and SCCM/MECM, and develop standardized Windows 10 and Windows 11 golden images.

You will configure PXE boot, integrate WDS with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, and SCCM, and lead deployment engineers while collaborating with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and End User Computing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining WDS infrastructures.
• Ability to architect OS deployment solutions using WDS, MDT and SCCM/MECM.
• Experience developing standardized Windows 10/11 golden images.
• Experience configuring PXE boot environments and image customization.

Job description

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide Windows Deployment Services (WDS) infrastructure.
• Architect and manage Windows OS deployment solutions using WDS, MDT, and SCCM/MECM.
• Develop and maintain standardized Windows 10 and Windows 11 golden images.
• Configure and manage PXE boot environments.
• Integrate WDS with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, and SCCM.
• Design and maintain deployment task sequences and automated build processes.
• Manage driver packages, application deployment, and image customization.
• Troubleshoot deployment-related issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Support OS migration projects, refresh activities, and endpoint modernization initiatives.
• Create architecture documents, SOPs, and deployment runbooks.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and End User Computing teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor deployment engineers.
