Role Purpose

This role requires providing significant technical expertise in architecture planning, design, and daily operations of the Windows Server environment. You will play a key role in managing installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives, while ensuring business continuity through effective patching and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Operations

• Plan and support architecture, migration, and installation for new projects within Windows Server environments.
• Lead structural/architectural design to deliver scalable, extensible solutions.
• Conduct capacity planning and leverage new features of Windows Server for performance optimization.
• Manage day-to-day operations including troubleshooting, RCA, and performance fine-tuning.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and recovery plans.
• Create and update SOPs, operations manuals, and test plans.
• Provide weekly status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) using automation and other initiatives.

Team Management

• Forecast and manage talent requirements for operational efficiency.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members while fostering diversity in leadership roles.
• Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and encourage engagement initiatives.
• Recognize and reward team contributions while promoting career progression.

Performance Measures

• SLA adherence and risk mitigation.
• Knowledge management and documentation quality.
• Customer satisfaction and CSAT scores.
• On-time delivery of projects with minimal escalations.
