Job summary

Future Businesstech India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Windows Server systems and AD infrastructure. You will ensure security, perform regular patches, manage DNS/DHCP, and monitor daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years of hands-on Windows Server experience, with strong troubleshooting and backup/recovery skills. This on-site role offers opportunities to work with enterprise tech and improve IT resilience.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of hands-on Windows Server and desktop support experience.
• Implement, configure, and maintain Windows Server, AD, and core infra services with strong security and patching.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and basic networking; familiarity with backup and recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server OS and related tools.
• Active Directory & Identity Management: Manage AD, users, groups, OU, DNS, DHCP, and file permissions.
• Patch & Security Management: Deploy security updates, service packs, drivers, and antivirus solutions.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor performance and resolve hardware/OS issues remotely.
• Backup & Recovery: Oversee backups, data integrity, and disaster recovery.

Job Title: Windows Server Administrator

Role Overview:

A Windows Server Administrator at Future Businesstech India Pvt Ltd installs, configures, maintains, trouble shoot, service & support Microsoft Windows client/server operating systems, Active Directory, and core infrastructure services while ensuring high security, regular patches, and stable daily system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related enterprise productivity tools.
• - Active Directory & Identity Management: Manage Active Directory, user accounts, security groups, organizational units, DNS, DHCP, and file/sharing permissions.
• - Patch & Security Management: Deploy regular security updates, service packs, driver/firmware upgrades, and antivirus solutions.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor overall system performance, track resource utilization, and resolve hardware or OS problems via remote tools.
• - Backup & Recovery: Oversee routine data backups, data integrity, and disaster recovery processes.

Experience:

2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server environment management and desktop support infrastructure.

Technical Skills:

• - Strong mastery of Windows Server architecture and Active Directory / GPO.
• - Working knowledge of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with virtualization platforms or endpoint management tools is a strong plus.

Soft Skills:

• - Problem-solving mindset, efficient time management, client relationship, and good written and verbal communication.
