Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Windchill developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windchill development and customization. The role requires strong Java/J2EE skills including JSP and Servlets, and deep knowledge of Windchill APIs and customization frameworks.

The candidate will work on Windchill workflows, lifecycles, OIRs, object types, business rules, and access control, and support Info*Engine tasks and custom Windchill components. Collaboration across global teams is expected.

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill development and customization.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Windchill APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill customization frameworks.
• Experience with Windchill Workflows, Lifecycles, OIRs, Object Types, Business Rules, and Access Control.
• Experience developing and supporting Info*Engine tasks and custom Windchill components.
• Experience with custom actions, validators, listeners, and services.
• Knowledge of developing and modifying QML and Jasper Reports.
• Understanding of Windchill architecture, business objects, and data models.
• Working knowledge of SQL Queries and Oracle databases.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with source-code management, build, deployment, and release processes.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Windchill upgrade or migration projects.
• Experience with Windchill REST services and enterprise integrations.
• Exposure to SUMA and/or Arbortext.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Knowledge of Jira.
