Job summary

Daskalos is seeking a Website Engineering Lead in India to architect and implement high-performance WordPress solutions. You’ll build custom themes and plugins, review code, and ensure reliable releases while collaborating with Product, Design and Marketing teams to drive website initiatives.

You will optimize Core Web Vitals, implement SEO enhancements, and strengthen security and performance across WordPress deployments, leveraging modern tooling and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience developing WordPress applications using PHP (PHP 8+) with strong OOP knowledge.
• Expertise in custom WordPress themes and plugins, hooks, filters, APIs, REST APIs, and Composer.
• Experience with Salesforce integration via APIs or middleware is a plus.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and Vanilla JS; strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
