Job summary

Nisource Technologies is seeking an experienced IBM WebMethods specialist to develop, test, and deploy integration services, including IS, UM, MWS, TN, and API Gateway components, for on-premises or hybrid environments.

You will contribute to upgrade/migration efforts, validate environments, and troubleshoot production issues while coordinating with QA, infra, and application teams. Strong communication and Linux/SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 35 years of hands-on experience in IBM webMethods (versions 9.x / 10.x); exposure to 11.x is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Flow, Java services, pub-sub, triggers, document types, and JDBC/SAP adapters.
• Working knowledge of Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, and MWS.
• Experience with wmDeployer, package management, and basic IS administration.
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and EDI/B2B concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux commands and SQL (Oracle / MS SQL).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an onsite team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy integration services, flow services, and adapters on webMethods Integration Server.
• Work with Integration Server (IS), Universal Messaging (UM), My webMethods Server (MWS), Trading Networks (TN), API Gateway & Portal.
• Support upgrade and migration activities including package migration, regression testing, and environment validation.
• Perform application compatibility checks and assist in remediation of deprecated services during upgrades.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, analyse server logs, and provide L2 production support.
• Configure JDBC, SAP, and other adapters; manage connections, triggers, and scheduler tasks.
• Coordinate with QA, infrastructure, and application teams for deployments and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and deployment notes.
• Participate in production cutover activities and post-deployment support.
