Job summary

BEMPU Health Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Web App Intern to build our internal operations app using AI-assisted development, plus a customer-facing web app to give users access to the back-end data they need.

This is not a ticket-taking role. You will ship real tools used daily by sales, production and finance. Fluency with AI coding tools matters more than years of experience, with direct mentorship from BEMPU's engineering team.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a Web App Intern to build our internal operations app using AI-assisted development, plus a web app that lets our users and customers access the back-end data they need.

This is not a ticket-taking role. You will ship real tools that our sales, production and finance teams use every day, and you will see them used within days of writing them. Fluency with AI coding tools matters more to us than years of experience.

What You'll Do

• Build and extend our internal operations app, covering sales, production and finance workflows.
• Build a customer-facing web app that gives our users and customers access to the back-end data they need, with the right access controls.
• Integrate with our business systems through their REST APIs.
• Use AI coding tools to prototype, debug and iterate fast, then tighten the result into something maintainable.
• Sit with the people who will use each tool, watch them work, and change what you built accordingly.
• Write enough documentation that the next person can pick your work up.

Requirements

• AI-native: you do not just know how to code, you know how to direct AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot to build working features quickly.
• Able to reason about data models, access control, and what happens when two people edit the same record.
• A portfolio, side project or GitHub that shows something you actually shipped, however small.
• Self-directed: you can take a rough problem statement, ask the right questions, and come back with something working.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or self-taught with the work to prove it.
• Available for a 6-month full-time paid internship in Bangalore.
• A paid internship with a monthly stipend.
• Work on a meaningful product that improves newborn health in India and globally.
• Real ownership: the tools you build go straight into daily use by the whole company.
