Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India, is hiring an WD Extend Engineer to own the Workday Extend application and multiple Studio integrations within a global HR-IT delivery team. You will work in an Agile environment, understand end-to-end HR processes, and help simplify UI with Workday Extend technologies.

The role requires hands-on coding with JSON, data integration, and building reports/dashboards in Workday. You will collaborate with SMEs and cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions under tight

Qualifications

• Programming in a high-level language, preferably JavaScript and WQL.
• Understanding of relational databases, including intermediate-level SQL.
• Workday Extend Certification, 1 end-to-end implementation experience preferred.
• Experience with Data Integration, Data Quality and Data Architecture lifecycle.
• Experience with internet protocols, networks, and related technologies, including HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
• Exposure to the Workday platform (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent).
• Must have experience with Agile and Integration Solution Development.
• Minimum of 3+ years of Workday Extend experience in design and development.
• Strong problem solving with hands-on coding and data model creation.
• Ability to work in a global, cross-cultural environment.
• Industry experience 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of Workday Extend application and Studio integrations.
• Understand active business processes and simplify UI using Workday Extend.
• Develop JSON formats in Presentation UI components.
• Create design and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Run production deployments and releases via release management processes.
• Collaborate with source system SMEs to model integrations with data warehouse.
• Handle data integration schedules and end-to-end data ingestion from Workday and other systems.
• Integrate with critical apps (Workday, Microsoft O365, etc.).
• Design/integrate inbound and outbound Workday integrations using Core Connector, Cloud Connector, EIB, etc.
