Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India seeks a WD Extend Engineer to lead Workday Extend initiatives within HR-IT. You will own the Extend app and Studio integrations, design data models, and build UI-friendly JSON formats. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders is essential.

The role emphasizes end-to-end implementation experience with Workday Extend, data integration, and a strong grounding in JavaScript and SQL within an Agile environment.

Responsabilidades

• Ownership of Workday Extend application and multiple Studio integrations.
• Understand active business processes and simplify UI using Workday Extend technologies.
• Develop JSON formats in Presentation UI components.
• Build Custom objects, Attachment objects, and Business objects with data sources in JSON.
• Create and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields based on use cases.
• Run production deployment and releases through release management processes.
• Partner with source system SMEs to analyze and design dimensional models for data warehouse integration.
• Handle data integration schedules, including inter-model integrations and end-to-end data ingestion.
• Integrate the system with other critical applications (Workday, MS Office 365).
• Design and build inbound and outbound integrations using Core Connector, Cloud Connector, EIB, Report Designer, Workday Studio.

Job Description: Job Title: WD Extend Engineer, AS Location: Pune, India Corporate Title: AS Role Description HR IT, a global technology group of Deutsche Bank’s technology organization, is responsible to provide IT services for the Global HR Function for DB. The role is a part of the HR-IT technology landscape to work in the Talent Value Stream. Candidate will work as the Lead Architect for the value stream and will be working in Agile Philosophy. He/She will be a member of cross-functional IT delivery team that includes business analysts, developers and testers.

Your key responsibilities

• Ownership of Workday Extend application and multiple Studio integrations
• Understand the active business process in the existing environment and improve the process to simplify the UI experience by leveraging Workday Extend technologies
• Development of JSON formats in Presentation UI components
• Build Custom objects, Attachment objects, and Business objects with the data sources in JSON
• Create design, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields based on use cases
• Run production deployment and releases through established release management processes
• Partnering with source system SMEs to analyze and design dimensional models to integrate with enterprise data warehouse and Adaptive Planning
• Handling data integration schedules, including inter-model integrations and end-to-end data ingestion from source systems, i.e., Workday, an enterprise data hub, 3rd party systems
• Integrate the system with other critical applications within the company (Workday, Microsoft O365, etc.)
• Design and build both inbound and outbound integrations in various segments of the Workday system and work with Core Connector, Cloud Connector, EIB, Report Designer, Workday Studio, Data Conversions loads

Must Have:

• Programming in any high-level language, preferably JavaScript and WQL
• Understanding of relational databases, including intermediate-level SQL
• Workday Extend Certification
• 1 end-to-end Workday Extend Implementation Experience
• preferred Working experience with Data Integration, Data Quality and Data Architecture project life cycle, best practices
• Experience with internet protocols, networks, and related technologies, including HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, and Soap web services
• Exposure to the Workday platform (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent)
• Must have experience with Agile and Integration Solution Development
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with Workday Extend technology in both a design and development capacity
• Experienced in solving business problems with hands‑on coding, database creation, or other types of software development
• Ability to work at the global level in a cross-cultural and diverse operating environment
• Result‑orientated and able to deliver under tight timelines
• Overall relevant industry experience of 5+ years

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Advanced, Matrix, and composite reporting and BIRT
• Fundamentals in Workday Studio, RAAS-based integrations, Calculated fields
• Technical background in PMD, SMD, AMD, Model Components, and Orchestration
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
