Job summary

GlobalLogic in Chennai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 8-10 years of development experience. You will lead architecture discussions, implement scalable back-end systems using Java/Spring, and collaborate with product and technical managers in agile teams.

Strong skills in RESTful services, microservices, J2EE, and Azure are required, along with MySQL and documentation using Postman/Swagger. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software development experience.
• Strong in Core Java and design principles.
• Very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate.
• Very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Web Services and microservices.
• Working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases.
• Proficient with Azure services.
• Proficient in documenting process and code with Postman/Swagger.
• Knowledge of Redis and Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban and small-team collaboration.
• Ability to develop architecture strategy and produce reusable artifacts.

Minimum 8-10 Years Of Software Development Experience

• Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities

• Ensuring high quality code is produced and maintained through code review and frequent defect prevention activity
