Job summary

GlobalLogic in Chennai is seeking an experienced Java software engineer to work on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices projects.

You will collaborate with technical and product managers to define architecture, enforce best practices, and deliver high-quality, well-documented software using Azure, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of software development experience
• Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities
• Develop and implement an architecture strategy
• Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices, and solutions that meet customer needs
• Ensuring high quality code is produced and maintained through code review and defect prevention activity
• Work closely in small teams to create well integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts
• Agile/ Scrum/Kanban experience
• Should be strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles
• Should be very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate
• Should be very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices
• Should have working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases
• Should be proficient in documenting the process and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger etc.,
• Should be proficient with Azure services
• Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search)
