Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Chennai to design and deliver scalable Java applications using Spring MVC, Spring Boot microservices, and RESTful APIs. You will collaborate with product and tech leaders to shape architecture and ensure quality.

The role requires deep Core Java expertise, strong J2EE with Spring/JPA/Hibernate, and hands-on experience with Azure, Redis, Elasticsearch, and NoSQL/SQL data stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of software development experience.
• Strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles.
• Very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate.
• Very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices.
• Working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases.
• Proficient with Azure services.
• Proficient with Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search).

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of software development experience
• Work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities
• Develop and implement an architecture strategy
• Facilitate team collaboration towards software engineering best practices, and solutions that meet customer needs
• Ensuring high quality code is produced and maintained through code review and frequent defect prevention activity
• Work closely in small teams to create well integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts
• Should be strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles
• Should be very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate
• Should be very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices
• Should have working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases
• Should be proficient in documenting the process and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger etc.,
• Should be proficient with Azure services
• Basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search)
