Job summary

Daffodil Pharmachem is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Operations Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical utility systems at our pharma chemical plant.

The role focuses on maximizing uptime, ensuring GMP compliance, and coordinating with QA, EHS, and external vendors. Candidates should have hands‑on experience with key plant utilities and be able to lead shutdowns and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of pharma/chemical plant utility systems.
• Familiarity with GMP and statutory requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all plant utility systems for uninterrupted production.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot utility equipment and minimize downtime.
• Monitor utility performance, energy consumption, and equipment reliability.
• Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with production, QA, EHS, and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise technicians and support plant shutdown and commissioning activities.
