Security Guard - NCO Office, Worli

Location: NCO Office, Worli, Mumbai

Department: Security & Safety

Area Covered: Two Siemens-occupied office floors

Reporting To: Security Supervisor

Building Context: Multi-tenant office building managed by Aditya Birla team.

Job Purpose

To ensure the safety and security of the two Siemens office floors, personnel, visitors, and assets through effective access control, patrolling, surveillance, emergency support, and adherence to security procedures. Building-level and common-area matters shall be promptly reported to the Security Supervisor for coordination with the Aditya Birla building management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and service personnel at designated Siemens access points.
• Verify identity cards, visitor approvals, access passes, and contractor authorizations.
• Maintain visitor and access records as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of Siemens office floors, including office areas, meeting rooms, service areas, and emergency exits.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens security, safety, access-control, clean-desk, and confidentiality requirements.
• Assist during emergency drills, fire alarms, and evacuations, including floor clearance and guidance to assembly points.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, suspicious activities, and security breaches.
• Report incidents, observations, and actions accurately through prescribed reporting formats.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, misuse, and damage to company assets.

Operational Duties

• Monitor CCTV feeds, access-control systems, and fire-safety indicators.
• Report equipment malfunction, abnormal activities, or security concerns immediately.
• Identify and report workplace hazards such as blocked exits, damaged locks, unattended items, faulty lighting, or water leakages.
• Coordinate closely with Reception, Facility Management, and other authorized teams.
• Escalate security and safety issues as per established SOPs and escalation protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, visitor, business, incident, and CCTV information.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, key-control, lost-and-found, and material movement registers.
• Verify authorized movement of laptops, equipment, parcels, couriers, and materials.
• Support first-response activities and coordinate with EHS teams, building security, and emergency services when required.
• Maintain high standards of punctuality, alertness, discipline, uniform appearance, and professional conduct.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Minimum 12th Pass.

Preferred Background

• Ex-serviceman, preferably at NCO level.
• Prior experience in corporate office security or multi-tenant commercial buildings.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and emergency response procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observation and vigilance capabilities.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare incident reports.
• Physically fit and capable of working in shifts.

Work Schedule
