Ashland India Private Ltd in Mumbai's Ambernath plant is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. You will coordinate with production, QA, and planning teams to ensure GMP-compliant operations and real-time SAP transactions.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in warehouse/logistics within regulated industries, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role and hands-on SAP experience. Onsite role with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations in regulated industries.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience is required.

This is a very visible, significant role within the Company, the position will report to the Plant manager.This is a **Onsite full time position**. **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** * Supervise receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.* Ensure proper segregation, identification, and storage of materials as per GMP requirements.* Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities with transporters and vendors.* Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure safe material handling.* Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices.* Ensure timely availability of materials to production as per production plans.* Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, and Planning teams for smooth operations.* Perform and monitor SAP transactions related to: * + Goods Receipt (GRN) + Goods Issue (GI) + Transfer Posting + Stock Transfer + Inventory Reconciliation + Batch Management + Dispatch Documentation * Ensure real-time and accurate inventory transactions in SAP.* Generate inventory, stock movement, and logistics reports from SAP.* Support inventory audits and cycle count activities.* Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with GMP, GDP, and company quality requirements.* Maintain documentation as per GMP requirements.* Ensure proper status labeling of materials (Approved, Quarantine, Rejected).* Participate in GMP training programs and ensure team compliance.* Support audits conducted by customers, regulatory agencies, and internal auditors.* Assist in investigation and closure of deviations, CAPA, and change controls related to warehouse operations.* Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.* Conduct periodic cycle counts and annual physical inventory verification.* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.* Minimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolescence.* Ensure compliance with EHS policies and safe warehouse practices.* Monitor safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, stackers, and pallet trucks.* Conduct safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture.* Report and address unsafe conditions and near-miss incidents.* Supervise warehouse operators and logistics staff.* Allocate daily work and monitor performance.* Provide training on GMP, SAP, safety, and warehouse procedures.* Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement initiatives.**In order to be qualified for this role, you** ***must possess*** **the following:** * **3-5 years** of experience in warehouse and logistics operations in pharmaceutical, excipient, chemical, food, or regulated manufacturing industries.* Minimum **2 years** of supervisory experience preferred.* Hands-on experience in SAP ERP systems. **The following skill sets are** ***preferred*** **by the business unit:** * Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Science, or related discipline.* Diploma or certification in Supply Chain/Logistics Management preferred.In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
