Job summary

AP Management Consultants seeks an experienced Warehouse/Supply Chain professional to oversee warehouse operations, inventory movement, material handling, dispatch, and supply chain coordination. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Ensure proper receipt and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and consumables.
  • Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, Finance, Quality and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
  • Plan and coordinate dispatches based on production and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely movement of goods.
  • Monitor vehicle placement, loading, dispatch documentation, and delivery status.
  • Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve logistics-related issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse / Supply Chain professional to manage warehouse operations, inventory movement, material handling, dispatch, and supply chain coordination

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant movement of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other inventory, while maintaining proper documentation, stock accuracy, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure proper receipt and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and consumables.
  • Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
  • Ensure proper identification, segregation, stacking, and handling of materials.
  • Monitor warehouse space utilization and maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Ensure loading and unloading activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records.
  • Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all inward and outward material movements.
  • Track damaged, rejected, expired, or slow-moving inventory.
Supply Chain Coordination
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, Finance, Quality, and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
  • Plan and coordinate dispatches based on production and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely movement of goods.
  • Monitor vehicle placement, loading, dispatch documentation, and delivery status.
  • Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve logistics-related issues.
Liquor Industry Compliance
  • Ensure warehouse and dispatch activities comply with applicable excise, statutory, safety, and company requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation related to liquor/raw material/finished-goods movement.
  • Ensure proper segregation and control of finished alcoholic products.
  • Coordinate with the concerned teams for excise-related documentation, permits, passes, and movement records, as applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs and applicable government regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain GRN, stock transfer, issue, dispatch, return, and other warehouse-related documentation.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and warehouse reports.
  • Maintain records of stock movement and reconciliation.
  • Provide inventory and dispatch information to management as required.
  • Support internal, statutory, excise, and external audits.
Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems; experience with SAP/Oracle or similar ERP is preferred.
  • Good understanding of stock reconciliation and warehouse documentation.
  • Knowledge of excise-related processes in the liquor/beverage manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and work under deadlines.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, compliance, safety, and inventory control.
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Diploma/PG qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • [5-12] years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain operations.
  • Candidates with experience in beverage, FMCG, food manufacturing, or other regulated manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Experience in handling raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to excise-controlled or regulated products will be an advantage.
  • Experience in managing warehouse teams and third-party logistics/transporters.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory documentation and reconciliation.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.
