Ward Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to hospital wards. The includes patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring, nursing procedures, documentation, patient education, infection prevention, and coordination with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in assigned wards.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and clinical condition.
• Administer prescribed medicines, injections, IV fluids, and treatments.
• Perform nursing procedures according to approved protocols.
• Assist doctors during examinations, rounds, and clinical procedures.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report abnormalities promptly.
• Provide wound care, dressing, hygiene, and comfort support as required.
• Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient records.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and referral activities.
• Monitor intake, output, and other assigned clinical parameters.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment and care instructions.
• Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety practices.
• Maintain availability of medicines, equipment, and nursing supplies.
• Assist during emergencies and resuscitation activities within scope.
