Job summary

Saint Gobain India is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our plant in Gujarat. You will perform breakdown and preventive maintenance on blowers, conveyors, gear boxes, bucket elevators, boilers and other equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You will inspect equipment, troubleshoot faults, document repairs, and coordinate with a maintenance team to prioritize tasks. A B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and 3–6 years of plant maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field with expertise in plant maintenance (breakdown & preventive).
• B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery operation principles and ability to troubleshoot common faults independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications for documentation purposes.

Responsibilities
