Job summary

Peenya Industrial Gases is seeking a technically skilled maintenance professional to support engineering and operations. The role involves assisting the technical Director, evaluating new projects, and developing the technical details and BOM required for execution.

The candidate should have an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical fields, with about two years of maintenance experience. Autocad familiarity and strong communication skills are plus points in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant technical field.
• 2 years of experience in technical/maintenance work; freshers may apply.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery and maintenance.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and technical documentation.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Safety-conscious, disciplined and a team player.
• Knowing AutoCAD drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the technical Director with planning and analysis.

• Assist the technical Director.
• Take up new projects. Analyze the Feasibility.
• Work out the technical details.
• Make drawings, plan the BOM.
• Work out the quotations and project costing.
• Plan and execute the new Projects.
• Support in Daily operations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents, records, checklists and reports.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and safety teams.
• Support troubleshooting of basic equipment and technical issues.
• Monitor equipment operation and report abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.
• Assist in inspection, servicing and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance and equipment activities.

Preferred candidate profile
