Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an experienced packaging specialist to perform App-V sequencing and AdminStudio repackaging for Windows 11. You will manage MSI-based repackaging, silent installs, and coordinate end-to-end packaging workflows.

The role requires collaboration with Service Desk and other teams to troubleshoot application-level issues and ensure successful deployments. Face-to-face interview on 19th Sep 2026 at TCS Chennai location.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of experience in App-V sequencing and packaging.
• Proficient in App packaging, testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting skills for silent installs and packaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform App-V sequencing and AdminStudio packaging for Windows 11.
• Carry out MSI-based repackaging and silent installs via batch/powershell scripts.
• Lead Windows 11 migrations and troubleshoot packaging issues.

• Microsoft App-V Sequencing
• AdminStudio - Installshield Repackaging - MSI / MST
• In-depth knowledge end-to-end App Packaging Process

Able to demonstrate very good troubleshooting skills for Windows 11.

Responsibilities

1Microsoft App-V Sequencing and AdminStudio - Installshield Repackaging for Windows 11

2MSI based Re-packaging, Silent Installs using batch/powershell scripting of applications,

3Good experience in Win11 App migrations and proven troubleshooting expertise.

4Collaborating with various Teams + Service Desk Teams on troubleshooting the Application level issues

5Distributing packages through AppV Console and Ivanti

6Co-ordinating with End Users / Requestors on Requirements gathering, UAT testing and complete end-to-end packaging process.

7Should take responsibility on INC's, Non-Standard Application requests and other Priority requests.
