Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai seeks an experienced identity and access management professional with 5-12 years of experience. The role involves administering Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and IAM processes to safeguard access across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will manage user lifecycles, implement SSO/MFA, and enforce zero trust principles while ensuring compliance with security and audit requirements. Face-to-face interviews will be conducted in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Experience with AD DS: manage, create and delete user accounts, groups and computer objects.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID: users, groups, roles, SSO, MFA, conditional access.
• Experience with IAM processes: JML, access reviews, RBAC, privileged access management.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust concepts and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer AD DS domain services, OUs, GPOs and delegation models.
• Manage Entra ID including SSO, MFA, and hybrid identity integration.
• Execute joiner/mover/leaver processes and conduct access reviews.
• Support security auditing and compliance with identity and access controls.

What we are looking for

Must Have

1. Active Directory Administration

• Manage and administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts, groups, and computer objects.
• Administer Organizational Units (OUs), Group Policies (GPOs), and delegation models.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, replication, and DNS-related issues.
• Monitor AD health, replication status, and domain controller performance.
• Perform AD audits and security reviews.

2. Microsoft Entra ID Administration

• Manage users, groups, and administrative roles in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support Microsoft Entra Connect (Azure AD Connect) synchronization.
• Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Implement and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Configure and manage Conditional Access Policies.
• Support Identity Protection and security recommendations.
• Manage hybrid identity environments.

3. Identity & Access Management

• Execute Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes.
• Provision and deprovision user access.
• Perform access reviews and entitlement validations.
• Support role-based access control (RBAC).
• Assist with privileged access management activities.
• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.

4. Security Skills

• Identity Governance
