Job summary

Aabhushan Jewellers, Udvada, Valsad, is hiring its first dedicated accountant to manage daily GST-compliant entries and end-of-day reconciliations. You will handle vendor and karigar accounts, stock ledgers, and monthly financials while learning our ERP ecosystem.

Training is provided, and opportunities to contribute improvements to our ERP system are welcome. The role requires 1–6 years of accounting experience and a strong, reliable character in a high-value inventory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 1–6 years accounting experience.
• Strong basics in ledgers, reconciliation, and sales/purchase entries.
• Good understanding of GST.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily billing and GST-compliant entries.
• Reconcile cash, card, UPI and gold-exchange transactions at day end.
• Record purchases and settle vendor and karigar accounts.
• Maintain the stock and metal-weight ledger.
• Prepare monthly reports on sales, expenses and outstanding payments.
• Prepare GST data and coordinate with CA for filing.
• Work on our in-house accounting software, with full training provided; ERP learning encouraged.

Aabhushan Jewellers, a 30+ year family jewellery retail showroom in Udvada, Valsad, is hiring its first dedicated accountant.

• Handle daily billing and GST-compliant entries
• Reconcile cash, card, UPI and gold-exchange transactions at day end
• Record purchases and settle vendor and karigar accounts
• Maintain the stock and metal-weight ledger
• Prepare monthly reports on sales, expenses and outstanding payments
• Prepare GST data and coordinate with our CA for filing
• Work on our in-house accounting software, with full training provided. You're welcome to suggest a better ERP.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate, 1-6 years of accounting experience
• Strong basics in ledgers, reconciliation, and sales and purchase entries
• Good understanding of GST
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Hands-on experience with ERP softwares; willingness to learn a new system is required.
• Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi, basic English
• Honest, careful and reliable with high-value inventory
• Based in or able to commute from Udvada, Pardi, Vapi, Valsad.
• Jewellery experience not required; training provided
