Job summary

Yashoda Fertility & Ivf Center is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for fertility and gynaecology patients. You will receive and prepare patients for consultations, investigations and procedures, monitor vitals, and administer medications as prescribed.

Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, maintaining aseptic techniques, and coordinating with the embryology team during IVF procedures, while reporting adverse events to the doctor as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide nursing care to fertility and gynaecology patients.
• Receive and prepare patients for consultations, investigations and procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and the patient’s clinical condition before and after procedures.
• Administer medicines, injections, hormonal medications and IV fluids strictly as prescribed.
• Explain medication schedules and injection-related instructions to patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OT/procedure rooms ahead of scheduled procedures.
• Ensure availability of instruments, medicines, emergency equipment and consumables.
• Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques during procedures.
• Coordinate with the embryology team during IVF procedures.
• Immediately report any adverse reaction or abnormal patient condition to the doctor.

• Check medication name, dosage, expiry date and prescription before administration.
• Immediately report any adverse reaction or abnormal patient condition to the doctor.

Preferred candidate profile

• Assist IVF Consultants during procedures such as:
• Oocyte Pick-Up (OPU)
• Embryo Transfer (ET)
• IUI
• Hysteroscopy
• Minor OT procedures
• Prepare procedure/OT rooms before scheduled procedures.
• Ensure instruments, medicines, emergency equipment and consumables are available.
• Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques during procedures.
• Coordinate with the embryology team during IVF procedures.
