Job summary

GIC pvt. ltd. in Pune (Bhosari) seeks an SMT Operator to support production with setup, loading, and quality checks. Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years’ experience are welcome; immediate joining is preferred and shifts are rotational.

You will operate SMT lines (Solder Paste Printer, SPI, P&P, Reflow, AOI), verify BOM compliance, monitor output, and maintain logs while adhering to safety and 5S SOPs. Prior experience with common SMT machines is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 12th pass / ITI / Diploma in electronics or allied fields.
• ITI / Diploma holders preferred.
• Electronics / Electrical / E&TC qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT machines including Solder Paste Printer, SPI, Pick & Place / Mounter, Reflow Oven and AOI.
• Load and verify PCB boards, component reels and feeders as per BOM.
• Perform machine setup, feeder loading and model changeover.
• Monitor machine operation, production output and machine alarms.
• Check component placement, solder paste printing and PCB quality.
• Identify defects such as missing components, wrong components, misalignment and soldering defects.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report major machine/process issues.
• Maintain production records, machine logs, rejection data and material consumption.
• Follow ESD, 5S, safety, quality and company SOP requirements.
• Handle electronic components, PCBs, solder paste, stencils and consumables carefully.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and operator-level preventive maintenance.
• Support daily production, quality and productivity targets.

• Experience with Fuji, Yamaha, Juki, Panasonic, ASM or similar machines will be an advantage.
