Job summary

Max Healthcare in Delhi is seeking a committed healthcare professional to provide quality clinical care to surgical IP patients and support IP rounds and documentation. The role emphasizes ethical practice, ER preparedness, and clear communication with consultants.

The successful candidate will coordinate investigations, treatments, and drug procurement while maintaining patient safety and compliance with hospital policies. This is a full-time on-site position at Max Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality clinical care to surgical IP patients.
• Ensure timely attention and intervention for any IP surgical patient query.
• Practice evidence-based medicine for surgical patients.
• Coordinate investigations, treatment plans, drug procurement, and review allergies/history.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and response for treatments and procedures.
• Ensure IP surgical rounds are conducted and patients are attended empathetically.
• Ensure ethical medical practice is followed.
• Comply with patient protocols across OP-IP, OT, diagnostics, ICU, and triage.
• Document patient files, prescriptions, and requisitions legibly.
• Ensure discharge documentation is completed.
• Workup IP patients for surgery and ensure consent/tie-up is prepared.
• Ensure adequate care of all post-operative cases.
• Complete all OP & IP records on time and accurately.
• Ensure clear, prompt communication with all consultants.
• Ensure timely availability of surgical equipment and assist consultants in OT procedures.
• Be well groomed, punctual, and adhere to hospital policies.
• Complete orientation of QMS and EMS systems of the hospital.
• Be aware of the hospital's Disaster Management Programme (DMP).
• Comply with service quality processes and environmental/occupational policies.
• Comply with patient safety policies.
• Ensure safe equipment use and proper waste disposal

Responsibilities and key tasks

• To Provide Quality clinical Care to surgical Patients


• To ensure timely attention and intervention for any query or requirement from the IP surgical patient.


• To practice evidence based medicine awareness regarding surgical patient


• {Investigation- (profile/reports/plan)} {Treatment- (details/drug procurement)} {Drug Allergies/ patient history}


• To ensure Emergency Preparedness & Response Treatment/ Procedure/ Investigations)


• To ensure that the surgical IP rounds are duly done and the patients are attended empathetically


• To ensure that ethical Medical practice is followed.


• To Compliance with patient protocols (OP-IP/OT/ Diagnostics/ ICU/ Triage)


• To Document patient File/ Prescriptions/requisitions (legible/ complete)


• To ensure Documentation at the time of Discharge


• To workup of all IP patients for surgery & ensure tie-up preparation consent.


• To ensure adequate care of all part up cases.


• To complete all OP & IP records on time with accuracy.


• To ensure clear and prompt communication with all consultant.


• To ensure on-time availability of technical equipment for surgery and assist all surgical consultants in O.T. procedures


• To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.


• To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.


• To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.


• To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area


• To Comply with patient safety policy


• To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.
