Job summary

Shri Balaji Fastener Tools in Tamil Nadu seeks a seasoned quality professional to lead production line quality activities, in-process inspection, and final workmanship checks.

You will review drawings, use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Gauges, maintain process controls, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards. This role requires 15 years of relevant experience in automotive or engineering manufacturing and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in production line quality, in-process inspection, or manufacturing quality.
• Experience in automotive, engineering, electronics, or other manufacturing industries preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and Gauges.
• Familiarity with SPC, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plans and other QC tools.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements.
• Strong documentation and report preparation skills.

Preferred candidate profile

education

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Additional certification in Quality Management is an advantage.

Experience

• 15 years of experience in production line quality, in-process inspection, or manufacturing quality.
• Experience in automotive, engineering, electronics, or other manufacturing industries is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of quality inspection methods and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Gauges.
• Familiarity with 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plan, and SPC.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements is desirable.
• Good documentation and report-preparation skills.
