Job summary

Lighthouse Learning is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to deliver developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for young learners. You will plan lessons aligned with Montessori, play-based, or national guidelines and ensure a caring, inclusive classroom environment.

In this role, you will assess child progress, maintain records, and report to parents while collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to support each child's growth and development.

Qualifications

• PPTTC/NTT/ECCE certification required.
• Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Diploma in Pre-Primary or Montessori Education preferred.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience in a preschool/early childhood setting.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities in areas such as literacy, numeracy, language development, art, and motor skills.
  • Follow school curriculum frameworks (e.g., Montessori, Play-based, or national guidelines).
• Child-Centered Teaching:
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports the individual needs and interests of each child.
  • Use play-based and experiential learning strategies to encourage exploration and development.
• Classroom Management:
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom setting.
  • Encourage appropriate behavior through positive reinforcement and clear expectations.
• Assessment & Reporting:
  • Observe and assess each childs progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records and share regular updates with parents through meetings and progress reports.
• Parent Communication:
  • Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers through regular communication, workshops, and involvement in school activities.
• Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, assistants, and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
  • Participate in team meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
