Job summary

Responsibilities

Identify the patient before collection.
Screen and collect samples from patients.

Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
Apply laboratory terminology to procedures.
Maintain documentation and records.
Maintain patient comfort during procedures and monitor vital signs.
Ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal.

To apply laboratory terminology to lab procedures

To get training as and when needed
To maintain documentation and records
To make patients comfortable during the procedure and to monitor vital signs
To maintain the integrity of the sample and collect adequate amount
To do Home Visit for collection as an when required
To comply with patient safety policy.
To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system
