Job summary

Surya Hospital in Pune seeks a dedicated Pharmacist to manage hospital pharmacy operations, including stock control, indents, and stock verification. You will oversee expiry checks, daily high-alert medication inventories, and staff rosters, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager.

You may be assigned additional duties by the Reporting Manager. Ideal candidates will have strong verbal communication, problem solving abilities, and leadership qualities to ensure safe and compliant dispensing practices

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock, supplies and inventories of all medicines.
• Prepare indents for hospital pharmacy.
• Maintain the stock registers.
• Check expiry dates of drugs and arrange replacement.
• Daily inventory of high-alert medications/narcotics/backup stock.
• Make the duty roster of the pharmacist.
• Monitor supply, purchasing, manufacturing, dispensing and QA of medicines with pharmacist support.
• Check attendance of pharmacy staff and report to Manager- Pharmacy.
• Handle other duties assigned by Reporting Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain stock, supplies and inventories of all medicines.
• Will be responsible for preparation of indents for hospital Pharmacy.
• You will maintain the Stock Registers.
• He will be responsible for checking the expiry dates of drugs/medicines and arrange timely consumption or replacement thereof.
• Maintains checklist and takes inventory of high alert medications/narcotics/backup pharmacy on a daily basis.
• Making the duty roster of the Pharmacist.
• The Pharmacist are responsible for monitoring the supply of all medicines used in the hospital and are in charge of purchasing, manufacturing, dispensing and quality testing their medication stock along with help from pharmacist.
• Checking the attendance of staff posted in pharmacy and report to Manager- Pharmacy.
• Will be responsible for any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager from time to time.
