Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an OpenShift Engineer in Navi Mumbai to install, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Role requires managing networking, security, and storage, while monitoring health and performance to ensure high availability.

You will design and migrate complex OpenShift-based solutions and deploy cloud-native applications in an on-prem or cloud environment. Work is office-based with 5 days a week and potential 24x7 shift flexibility to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and deploying Red Hat OpenShift clusters
• Manage OpenShift networking, security, and storage
• Monitor cluster health and performance for high availability
• Document case-by-case maintenance and issues
• Investigate and resolve issues related to pods, containers, nodes, networking and storage
• Design, build, and migrate complex OpenShift-based solutions
• Utilize cloud-native tools to design, build, and deploy applications per requirements
• Evaluate deployment options: on-premises vs cloud; DevSecOps on OpenShift architectures

• Install, Configure and Maintain Red Hat OpenShift Clusters.
• Manage Openshift Networking, Security, and Storage solutions.
• Monitor Cluster health and Performance, ensuring high Availability.
• Maintain detailed documentation case to case basis.
• Additionally Investigate and resolves issues related to pods, containers, nods, networking and storage.
• Designing, building, and migrating complex solutions based on RedHat OpenShift
• Utilizing appropriate cloud-native tools and services to design, build, and deploy new applications based on given requirements.
• Evaluating cloud application requirements and making architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications to OpenShift, aligning business objectives with application/architecture requirement
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate OpenShift deployment options: On-premises vs. cloud, centralized data center vs. edge, designing & building for DevSecOps on OpenShift architectures, including monitoring, logging, and metrics.
