Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) invites experienced Network Engineer candidates for a Walk-In at TCS Mumbai (Thane). The role focuses on designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Juniper network infrastructure for enterprise environments.

Required hands-on Juniper experience (Junos OS) with EX/QFX/MX/SRX devices, routing, VPNs, and security policies. On-call support and incident management will be part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Juniper Networks (Junos OS).
• Experience with Juniper EX, QFX, MX, SRX devices.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
• Experience with VPN technologies and network security.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and load balancing.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with data center and enterprise network environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and support Juniper network infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Juniper routers, switches, and security devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and MPLS.
• Implement network security policies, VPNs, ACLs, and firewall configurations.

• Perform root cause analysis for network incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and deployments.
• Ensure network compliance, documentation, and operational standards.
• Handle upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities.
• Participate in on-call support and incident management activities.
