Job summary

Swagatham Global Connect seeks an experienced MEP Engineer for a prestigious 5-star property project in the Maldives. The role entails leading MEP activities, reviewing designs, coordinating with experts, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 5+ years of MEP experience, preferably in hospitality or large-scale developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in MEP engineering (as stated in the advert).
• Experience in hospitality, resort, infrastructure, or large-scale projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building services, codes, and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate MEP engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Monitor MEP works during construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Provide technical support and resolve MEP-related queries and site issues.
• Review supplier and subcontractor technical submissions and deliverables.
• Support design reviews, technical meetings, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Assist with tendering, technical evaluations, design changes, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain effective coordination across multiple disciplines and project interfaces.
